new 2011 yamaha r15

This is the new yamaha r15 which is about to be launched soon.Want to know the changes on this sharper and sportier baby? read on...

rear panel and tail light - yes!The ugly looking tail lamp and rear panel is taken away. The new tail lamp and rear panel seems to be inspired from the R6.Now thats a fine ass ;)

increased wheelbase and fatter rear tire -This baby now has a fatter rear tire, maybe an 120mm(looks like one).People hated its skinny tires when r15 was launched three years back.Great work, yamaha!
The wheelbase is also increased and this will aid in stability.it also makes the bike look more bigger and longer.
Though these two things come at the cost of handling.I think it will not be as agile.

fairing - The fairing now looks more sharper and aerodynamic. It has been redesigned with a few air ducsts and other changes. The indicators are mounted lower.

other changes -It now has sportier looking split seats whcich have also been raised. There are new 10 spoke alloy wheels and a new swingarm. Also notice the grab rails have been removed. There is a addition of tire hugger too.

According to realiable sources power, torque will not be changed and it will be the same 150cc engine.
Heres a pic to know how you guys will look on the bike.Dream on...

new hyosung gt250 coming to india

This is what the 2012 hyosung gt250 which is expected to come to India will look like. There are only a few minor changes, one of them the ugly-looking headlamp.Everything else is same too and there are not any changes expected in the engine department too.

WILL IT SELL?
That depends a whole lot on how they price it.The cbr250r which is available for 1.43l will be a direct competition, and then its a hyosung(not a very well known brand in India). So unless they price it really well,it aint gonna sell.what i think is they should price the naked at 1.2-1.3l and faired one at about 1.4-1.5l.
make no mistakes, this baby GT makes more power than ur cbr!

here are some more spy pictures

Will R125 come to India?

This question has been around for 2-3 years now.People blindly believe those 'desi' blogs and websites.
Websites,to increase their 'hits' are spreading this romour.
So here are some of the reasons the r125 will not make it here:
1.Price-The so called rs. 90,000 price tag of r125 is nothing but a romour.
The price of r125 in european countries is around 3 lakh rupees!!Needless to say,no one in india pay that much for a 125cc bike. The only way for it to be priced sensibly is to be manufactured here.

2.specifications-The r125 makes about 14.5 bhp and 12.2 n.m torque which is even lower than our rtr 160's figures. The p220 at 75k rs. makes 21 bhp and makes 20nm of torque!!
Also it would be really dumb to sell a physically smaller r15(150cc) alongside a physically bigger r125(125cc).

so there you go, enough reasons to think more realistically and buy the bike currently available and not to wait for r125!
